I’ve seen some electricians decide to absorb change orders without charging to maintain a good relationship with a customer. But I certainly think it should be done very selectively. Otherwise, the kindness can easily be taken advantage of. I’d personally charge for the change order but perhaps at a reduced rate in good faith.

It's a wireless alarm panel! Chances are there are no alarm cables hidden in the plaster

Try to install a Willis heater instead of using the immersion. It will fill the tank with hot rather than just above the immersion
